Eight slices of sourdough bread or Italian crusty bread

100g Perfect Italiano Smooth & Creamy Ricotta

250g Perfect Italiano Mozzarella

100g thinly sliced smoked ham

Two ripe tomatoes, sliced

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

Two eggs, lightly beaten

1/3 cup milk

salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

20g butter

roasted cherry tomatoes to serve


  1. Spread Perfect Italiano Ricotta Smooth and creamy on bread. Sandwich Perfect Italiano Mozzarella with ham, tomatoes, basil, and Perfect Italiano Mozzarella on pairs of bread.
  2. Mix eggs, milk, and seasonings in a shallow bowl. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture and drain off any excess.
  3. Melt butter on a non-stick frypan. Each sandwich should be cooked for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Warm up the sandwich and serve it with roasted cherry tomatoes.
