Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes are an excellent supply of beta-carotene (their bright orange hue is a sure signal). The body converts beta-carotene into vitamin A, a nutrient that assists in the creation of healthy, new skin cells. I like turning sweet potatoes into crispy oven-baked french fries. Cut the thin strips of potatoes that have been peeled and place the fries in one thin layer over a baking sheet that has been coated by oil spray. Spray them with spray oil, then sprinkle them with black pepper, salt, or other seasonings (ground cinnamon curry powder, ground cinnamon, and chili powder are just a few alternatives). Bake the fries in a 400-degree oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Make sure to cook your fries in the oven for five minutes to make them even more crisp!

Pecans

Pecans make up a small list of food items high in vitamin E, a nutrient crucial to maintaining the health of your skin. By forming a protective barrier within your skin’s cell membranes, vitamin E in pecans helps fight harmful free radicals and aids in keeping skin firm and elastic. Toasting pecans can make them extremely rich and buttery. They’re akin to candy! Spread the pecans onto an unbaked baking pan and then toast in a 350 deg oven (or an oven toaster) for 5 to 10 minutes (observe to ensure they don’t get burned). Take them all in for a delicious snack, chop them into pieces, and add them to oatmeal or low-fat yogurt.

Spinach

Spinach provides an all-in-one dose of wrinkle-fighting antioxidants: vitamin C, beta-carotene, and E. They all work together to shield your skin from the UV rays of the sun so that it remains youthful and healthy. Make a quick and easy spinach marinara sauce by adding fresh leaves to the simmering tomato sauce. Then serve it over pasta or grill chicken cutlets.

Carrots

Similar to sweet potatoes, carrots are packed with plenty of beta-carotene. Apart from its crucial role in regenerating skin cells, beta-carotene is a powerful antioxidant, soaking the harmful free radicals that speed up skin aging.   1. Cut 1 pound of peeled carrots into half-inch slices.
  2. Place the carrots on the top half of a large piece of aluminum foil and Sprinkle them with 1 cup balsamic vinaigrette, two tablespoons of fresh rosemary minced, two cloves of minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, an amount of salt, and black pepper.
  3. Drizzle the carrots in one tablespoon of olive oil.
  4. Wrap the foil around to form a tightly-sealed packet.
  5. Place the carrots on a baking sheet to bake at a 400 deg oven for about 25 minutes for a total of 25 minutes, or till the carrots are soft.
