This quick and easy dish for breakfast, dessert, or both is great to serve on any occasion of the day. The combination of honey-infused strawberry jam and ricotta cheese with toasty fruit bread is a perfect blend of flavors.
Four slices of thick fruit bread
1/2 cup Perfect Italiano™ Ricotta
1 tbsp honey
12 strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup almonds
Pinch of cinnamon
- The oven should be preheated to 180°C.
- Place the almonds on the tray and then place them into the oven to bake for about 10 minutes or until they are golden. Take the almonds out of the range. After cooling, cut them into small pieces and place them aside.
- Within a bowl, combine the ricotta with honey and cinnamon until they are well combined. Toast the bread with the fruit until it is golden.
- To serve, spread the ricotta on the toast, and then top it with strawberries cut into slices. Sprinkle the almonds that you roasted.
