Make your taste buds sing with a simple and delicious Frypan Chicken and pesto Toastie. This recipe is easy to make and combines the brioche slice with pesto spreadable with delicious butter cheese, shredded chicken thin avocado slices, and fresh leaves of rocket. An explosion of flavor that is easy to enjoy!
Ingredients:
Four slices of brioche loaf
Western Star Spreadable butter
2 tbsp pesto
4 Bega Tasty Cheese slices
120g shredded cooked chicken*
½ large avocado, thinly sliced
Rocket leaves to serve
Method:
- Slices of brioche on a flat surface. Spread the other side of them with Western Star Butter.
- On the non-buttered side of two slices, place the cheese slice, then add avocado, pesto, and chicken. Finish with the remaining cheese.
- Cover the second slice by making sure the butter side faces towards the outside.
- Heat a large non-stick frying pan on medium-low heat. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the cheese is melted and the bread has become golden. Serve immediately and top with additional butter.
