Make your meals more enjoyable by having our Roast Turkey Veggie Toastie. The toast is served with tomato or chutney relish, roasted vegetables leftover from the roast like carrot, pumpkin potato, zucchini, and potato, and then Colby cheese slices to give it the perfect melty flavor. It’s simple and yet delicious!
2 x 12cm Turkish bread, split in half
Western Star Spreadable butter
¼ cup chutney or tomato relish
1 cup leftover roasted vegetables such as pumpkin, carrot, potato, zucchini
4 Bega Colby cheese slices
Rocket leaves to serve
- Spread butter evenly on the cut sides of the bread.
- Layer roast vegetables on one slice, in whatever order you want, and then finish by adding two cheese slices.
- Spread the relish or chutney over the other slice. Add it to the top of the with the filling. Bake in the sandwich press that has been preheated until golden brown and toasty.
- Sprinkle a bit of butter on top. It should be warm before serving.
