This smoothie bowl makes a delicious summer breakfast. It combines oats with chia seeds, fruit, and a healthy dose of fiber. You can easily whip up a nutritious meal in no time.

Ingredients:

Half a cup (50g) of wholegrain rolled Oats

One tablespoon of chia seeds

3/4 cup (180ml) freshly squeezed orange juice

1/2 cup (125ml) almond milk

Two tablespoons of Greek yogurt

One tablespoon of shredded coconut

1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

To Serve1/2 pink lady apple, sliced

One tablespoon of crimson raisins or dried cranberries

One tablespoon of chopped pistachio nuts

One tablespoon of shredded coconut

Method:

  1. This recipe uses the Breville Personal Blen, der, which pulverizes whole fruits, vegetables, nuts, and leafy green…
  2. Mix oats with orange juice and chia seeds in a large bowl. Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. Secure the blades and place the oat mixture in a tumbler. Mix and lock into the motor base. Pulse repeatedly to combine. Blend for 20-30 more seconds or until smooth.

To Serve

  1. Serve with pistachios and raisins on top of the apple.
