1 tbsp milk
15g Western Star Original Butter
1 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
Two slices ham, chopped
Method:
Fluffy Cheese & Ham Omelet
- Lightly whisk the milk and eggs in a medium-sized bowl. Salt and pepper to taste and whisk away.
- Heat the butter on a medium-high heat in a nonstick frypan. Pour the egg mixture into the pan once the butter is melted. Tilt the pan to cover the bottom. Use a heatproof spatula to lift the omelet gently as it begins to set. Stir the omelet so that any uncooked eggs run underneath to cook.
- Cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until the bottom is golden-brown and the top is still slightly runny. Sprinkle the ham and melted cheese over and cook for another 30 seconds. Fold the omelet gently in half, then turn it onto a serving plate.
- Serve immediately with toast or hot buttered bread.
